Tourimpact was founded in 2019 to build a different kind of travel in the Dominican Republic: designed locally, operated locally, and worth something to the places it passes through. We are a small team, and we work with a network of guides, drivers, host communities and suppliers across the country.

Beyond the team, Tourimpact works with certified guides, drivers, host families, community associations and small suppliers in every region we cover. Most of these relationships are years old. It is what allows a company of our size to operate across the whole country without handing the work to someone else.
