Retreats

Retreat operations in the Dominican Republic
For retreat leaders, facilitators and companies. You bring the programme and the participants; Tourimpact sources the venue, manages the logistics and supports the group on the ground from arrival to departure.
How we work
The person or organisation leading a retreat, whether a yoga teacher, a coach or an HR team, is responsible for the content and the group. Tourimpact is responsible for the operation: the venue, accommodation, meals, transfers, activities and the on-site support needed when plans change.
We already operate retreats and group programmes in the Dominican Republic, for tour operators and for retreat leaders. We do not run our own branded retreats or sell places on them.
What we take care of
Venue
Sourcing and booking a space suited to the format of the retreat.
Accommodation
Rooms for the whole group, allocated to your requirements.
Meals
Menus planned around the dietary approach the group requires.
Transfers
Airport arrivals and departures, and all transport during the stay.
Activities
Outings scheduled to complement the programme.
On-site coordinator
Present for the entire stay to manage logistics and resolve issues, so the facilitator can concentrate on the group.

Key requirements: reliable connectivity, a meeting room fit for full working days, punctual transfers, and activities that connect the team with the place and its people.

Regions
Samaná
Seclusion and the sea.
Central Highlands
Mountain landscapes and a cooler climate.
Santo Domingo
City venues and the shortest transfer from Las Américas airport.
South-west
The least visited region, remote and largely undeveloped.
North Coast
Small coastal towns, with hills inland.
The East
Close to Punta Cana and La Romana airports, with quieter areas beyond the resorts.
Venues
Retreats take place in boutique hotels and characterful villas, selected for each group. Most of the venues we work with are in Samaná, on the North Coast and in the East.
Each venue is matched to the format: space for daily practice or a meeting room, the number of bedrooms required, and the setting the group needs. Share the format of your retreat and we will propose suitable options.
